Delete Party
पार्टी डिलीट — Permanently remove a party. You can delete only when it has no party invoices, LRs (trips), or collection memos.
What you see on this page
Section titled “What you see on this page”- Delete Party section — located at bottom of Party Details tab (visible only with “Delete parties” permission).
- Section description — “Permanently remove this party. Only available when no linked invoices, LRs, or collection memos exist.”
- Delete Party button — red button; disabled while party/bank sections are in edit mode (Save or Cancel first).
- Checking message — “Checking linked records…” when button is clicked.
- Cannot delete dialog — title “Cannot delete party”; lists blockers: Party Invoices (with “Open Party Invoices” link), LRs/Trips (with “Open Party Trips” link), Collection Memos (count only); button: Close.
- Confirm delete dialog — “Permanently delete party ‘[Party Name]’? This action cannot be undone.”; buttons: Cancel, Delete Party.
- Success toast — “Party deleted successfully”; redirects to Parties list.
🗑️Open Delete Party
You need Delete parties permission.
Open the party → tab Party Details → section Delete Party.
Copy explains: permanently remove this party; only when no linked invoices, LRs, or collection memos.
Open Parties⚠️Tap Delete Party
Tap Delete Party. The app first checks linked records (Checking linked records…).
Button stays disabled while party/bank sections are in edit mode — Save or Cancel first.
🚫If linked records exist
Dialog Cannot delete party lists what blocks delete (if count > 0):
- Party Invoices — Open Party Invoices
- LRs / Trips — Open Party Trips
- Collection Memos — count only (clear memos in Collection Memo)
Remove those records, then try again. Or tap Close.
✅Confirm delete
If clear: confirm Permanently delete party “…”? This action cannot be undone.
Delete Party or Cancel.
Success: Party deleted successfully → back to Parties list.
