Delete Vehicle

व्हीकल डिलीट — Permanently remove a vehicle only when it has no linked trips (LRs). Documents and expenses for that vehicle are removed too.

What you see on this page

• Delete Vehicle section on the Vehicle Details tab
• Warning message explaining you can only delete if no linked trips exist
• Delete Vehicle button (requires “Delete vehicles” permission)
• Cannot delete vehicle dialog when trips are linked, showing “LRs / Trips linked” message
• Open Trips button in the blocking dialog to view linked trips
• Confirmation dialog showing vehicle profile, document count, and expense count that will be deleted
• Delete Vehicle and Cancel buttons for final confirmation
• Disabled state when Vehicle Details is in edit mode (must Save or Cancel first)

Steps

🗑️Open Delete Vehicle

You need Delete vehicles permission.

Open the vehicle → Vehicle Details → section Delete Vehicle.

🚫If trips are linked

Dialog Cannot delete vehicle — LRs / Trips linked. Use Open Trips or Close.

✅Confirm delete

If clear: confirm permanent delete (vehicle profile, documents count, expenses count).

Delete Vehicle or Cancel.

💡

Disabled while Vehicle Details is in edit mode — Save or Cancel first.
