Delete Invoice

इनवॉइस डिलीट — Permanently remove an invoice. Linked LRs are unlinked so you can create a new invoice for them later.

What you see on this page

• Delete Invoice button (red trash icon) in invoice list Actions column (only visible with Delete invoices permission)
• Dialog title: Delete Invoice with warning icon (red circular badge with exclamation)
• Warning message: “This action cannot be undone.”
• Invoice summary card (gray background) showing:
  • Invoice No and Date (left column)
  • Party Name (spans full width)
  • Invoice Amount (green) and Status (right column)
• Information text: “All LRs included in this invoice will be unlinked from this bill. You can create a new invoice for those LRs after deletion.”
• Dialog buttons: Close (gray), Delete Invoice (red, becomes “Deleting…” when processing)
• Success toast: “Invoice deleted and LR links cleared successfully.”

🔒Permission

You need Delete invoices permission.

Open Invoice↗

🗑️Tap Delete Invoice

On the Invoice list (or Party Invoices), tap Delete Invoice.

Dialog: Delete Invoice — shows Invoice No, Date, Party, Invoice Amount, Status.

Warning: This action cannot be undone.

Body: all LRs on this invoice will be unlinked; you can create a new invoice for those LRs after deletion.

✅Confirm

Delete Invoice (loading: Deleting…) or Close.

Success: Invoice deleted and LR links cleared successfully.

Until the invoice is deleted, you cannot delete the LR. After delete, LRs become unbilled again for Create Invoice and Collection Memo.
