Delete Collection Memo

कलेक्शन मेमो डिलीट — Removes the memo. Linked LRs are unlinked so you can create a new collection memo for those trips. This cannot be undone.

What you see on this page

On the memo list — each card shows a Delete button (trash icon, red on hover) if you have trip_delete permission

Delete Collection Memo dialog (when you tap Delete)

• Title: Delete Collection Memo
• Warning icon (red circle with exclamation) at top
• Message: “This action cannot be undone.”
• Summary box (gray background) shows:
  • Memo No
  • Date
  • Party name
  • Freight amount (green)
  • Balance amount
  • Note: “All LRs linked to this collection memo will be unlinked. You can create a new collection memo for those trips after deletion.”
• Cancel button (gray, left)
• Delete Collection Memo button (red, right; shows “Deleting…” when in progress)

After delete

• Success toast: “Collection memo deleted and LR links cleared successfully.”
• The card disappears from the list
• Those LRs are now available again for a new memo

Steps

🗑️Open Delete

You need delete permission for trips (trip_delete).

On the Collection Memo list, tap Delete on a card.

⚠️Read the dialog

Dialog title: Delete Collection Memo.

It shows Memo No, Date, Party, Freight, Balance, and warns: This action cannot be undone.

Also: all LRs linked to this memo will be unlinked — you can create a new memo for those trips after deletion.

✅Confirm

Tap Delete Collection Memo (loading: Deleting…) or Cancel.

Success toast: Collection memo deleted and LR links cleared successfully.

Billed vs delete

Unlike some trip deletes, Lorryto does not block memo delete just because an LR was billed later. Delete always unlinks the memo from its LRs (permission permitting).
