Edit Collection Memo

कलेक्शन मेमो एडिट — Same review screen as create. You can update party, date, weight, bank, payments, advances, and notes. Collection Memo No and the linked trips stay fixed.

What you see on this page

Same layout as the create review page, with these differences:

• Collection Memo No field is read-only (grayed out, cannot change)
• Last Collection Memo No. reference does NOT appear
• Trip table shows the same LRs that were linked when memo was created (cannot add or remove rows)
• All other cards and inputs work the same: Party details (Edit → Save), Collection Memo Date, Weight, Trip payments/advances, Bank (Select / Add / Change), Notes
• Update Collection Memo button (green, bottom right) replaces Create

Steps

✏️Open Edit

You need edit permission for trips (trip_edit).

On the Collection Memo list, tap Edit on a card.

🔒What stays locked

• Collection Memo No — read-only (cannot change series after create)
• Trip set — you cannot add or remove LRs; backend rejects a different set

📝What you can change

• Party details (Edit → Save)
• Collection Memo Date *
• Weight, Notes
• Bank (Select Bank / Add New Bank / Change)
• Payment Received and Advance to be PAID — see Payments & Advances

Outstanding Amount still cannot be negative.

✅Update Collection Memo

Tap Update Collection Memo (loading: Updating…). Success opens the print page.

⚠️If edit fails to load

You may see: memo not found, or Linked trips are no longer eligible (e.g. billed after create). Use Back to collection memos.

💡

Need different trips on a memo? Delete the old memo (LRs unlink), then create a new one with the right selection.
