Edit & trip sync

एडिट और ट्रिप सिंक — Change invoice details with Update Invoice. If you change a linked trip after billing, Lorryto warns you and can open the invoice so totals stay correct.

What you see on this page

  • Same invoice review form as Create Invoice with all editable fields
  • Expandable sections: Your company details, Party details, Invoice details, Trip details, Bank details, More details
  • Bill Payments section showing payment history with + Add Payment button
  • Update Invoice button (replaces Create Invoice)
  • For fully settled invoices: yellow banner “This invoice is fully settled and marked as paid. Editing is disabled.”
  • When editing linked trip: confirmation dialog “This LR is linked to an invoice. These changes will affect invoice totals.”
  • After trip save: dialog option to open linked invoice and update totals
  • On View LR page: Invoice link chip showing linked bill number

Steps

Section titled “Steps”

✏️Open Edit Invoice

From the list (or Party Invoices), tap Edit Invoice.

Open Invoice

📝Update fields

Same review sections as create. Tap Update Invoice (loading: Updating Invoice…).

Success: Invoice updated successfully. → Print Invoice.

🔒If fully settled

Banner: This invoice is fully settled and marked as paid. Editing is disabled.

Toast if you try: Invoice is closed. You cannot edit this invoice.

🔄Trip change after invoice

On a linked LR, if you save finance/trip changes that affect the bill:

  1. Confirm: This LR is linked to an invoice. These changes will affect invoice totals. Continue and recalculate invoice after saving?
  2. After save: Saved successfully. Invoice totals may have changed. Do you want to open linked invoice now and click Update?
  3. If yes → invoice edit opens. Click Update Invoice so totals refresh from current trips.
  4. If no → toast reminds you to open the linked invoice and click Update.

On View LR you also see an Invoice link to the bill. See Edit trip.

🚫Cannot delete billed LR

You cannot delete an LR while it is on an invoice — delete or unlink the invoice first. See Delete trip and Delete Invoice.
