Delete Supplier

सप्लायर डिलीट — Permanently remove a supplier. You can delete only when it has no linked LRs / trips and no linked vehicles.

What you see on this page

• Delete Supplier section — located at bottom of Supplier Details tab (visible only with “Delete suppliers” permission).
• Section description — “Remove this supplier only when it has no linked trips or vehicles.”
• Delete Supplier button — red button; disabled while Supplier Information/Bank Details sections are in edit mode (Save or Cancel first).
• Checking message — “Checking linked records…” when button is clicked.
• Cannot delete dialog — title “Cannot delete supplier”; lists blockers: LRs/Trips (with “Open Trips” button), Vehicles (with “Open Vehicles” button that opens Vehicles filtered to this supplier); button: Close.
• Confirm delete dialog — “Permanently delete supplier ‘[Supplier Name]’? This action cannot be undone.”; buttons: Cancel, Delete Supplier.
• Success message — returns to Suppliers list after successful deletion.

Steps

🗑️Open Delete Supplier

You need Delete suppliers permission.

Open the supplier → tab Supplier Details → section Delete Supplier.

Copy explains: remove this supplier only when it has no linked trips or vehicles.

⚠️Tap Delete Supplier

Tap Delete Supplier. The app checks linked records first.

Button stays disabled while Supplier Information or Bank Details is in edit mode — Save or Cancel first.

🚫If linked records exist

Dialog Cannot delete supplier lists what blocks delete:

• LRs / Trips — Open Trips
• Vehicles — Open Vehicles (opens Vehicles filtered to this supplier)

Clear trips and reassign or remove market vehicles, then try again. Or tap Close.

✅Confirm delete

If clear: confirm Permanently delete supplier “…”? This action cannot be undone.

Delete Supplier or Cancel.

Success returns you to the Suppliers list.
